FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT & GRADUATE NURSES

The faculty was organized in 1994 and is the youngest faculty of Kazan Medical University. The establishment of the Faculty was determined by a high demand for qualified managers of nursing services, and today graduates of the Faculty chair the nursing services of multi-profile hospitals in the Republic of Tatarstan and beyond. Training of specialists is carried out on the basis of primary medical education.

Teaching at the Faculty is conducted by highly qualified professors and teachers, practical health professionals and leading foreign specialists.

The main departments of the Faculty are the Department of Management and Organization of Nursing which is unique in Russia, and Department of General Psychology with a course of Pedagogy. Graduates of the Faculty may receive postgraduate training through an internship program in the speciality "Management of nursing activities".
