FACULTY OF SOCIAL WORKERS
The Faculty was created in 1991 with the aim of training, retraining and further advanced training of social work specialists. The period of study is 5 years for full-time students and 6 years for part-time students.
Teaching at the faculty is conducted by highly qualified professors, teachers, managers and specialists of social institutions, foreign experts. Students gain extensive knowledge in the fields of social sciences, psychology and pedagogy, law and economics, theory and technology of social work.
Contracts have been signed for cooperation and training of specialists with the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the Administration of the Pension Fund of the Russia Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan and with other social ministries and departments, with the Department of Public Service supervised by the President of the Republic Tatarstan, the international relations are actively strengthening. The Faculty is involved in the project "Modernizing Russian Social Work Education and Teaching" of TEMPUS. Our motto: HUMANITY — PROFESSIONALISM — RESPONSIBILITY!
